My Core Truth: Why I Created SOME DOSE (And Why It Might Save You Too)

By SOME DOSE | 8/4/2025

Let’s call it what it is. The world is cooked.
People are running on caffeine, guilt, and coping mechanisms disguised as routines.
And most of what’s offered as healing feels like a bad prescription.

I didn’t create SOME DOSE to be cute or clever. I created it because I was running on fumes. I needed a ritual that didn’t sound like a self-help seminar. I needed protection that didn’t look like a bracelet from a yoga retreat. I needed something symbolic. Something real.

And I couldn’t find it.

Energetic and Emotional Burnout is the Symptom

This brand didn’t come from a brainstorm. It came from collapse.
Burnout isn’t just about being tired. It’s about being spiritually flatlined. You feel detached from yourself, from your environment, from anything that once felt true.

You try to “fix” it, but everything on offer is diluted and hollow.
No wonder people dissociate.
No wonder they shop.
No wonder they scroll themselves into amnesia.

What I needed was something that snapped me back into myself. Not a mantra. Not another planner. A dose.

So I made one. Then another. Then an entire system.

Everything Is a Dose

Every product I make is a response to a real-life symptom I’ve lived through. Emotional burnout, existential dread, decision fatigue, sensory overload. You name it. Each design, each ritual, each piece is a coded prescription. Wearable survival gear. Symbolic protection.

None of it is random. The colors, the cords, the crystals, the language. It’s all intentional. These aren’t accessories. They’re reminders. They’re instructions. They’re ways back into your own skin.

I didn’t set out to make fashion. I set out to make something I could wear when I didn’t know who I was anymore.

The Brand Is Honest, Not Polished

I’m not here to be agreeable. I’m not here to be soothing.
My humor is dark. My energy is chaotic. My brand reflects that.
People compliment the way I dress. They say I’m edgy or mad. That I wear things they wouldn’t dare wear but secretly want to. That I say what they’re thinking.

Good. That’s the point.

I’m not building a brand that blends in. I’m building one that stops people mid-scroll because it feels like someone finally said it out loud.

Ritual Is Survival

This is where fashion meets ritual. Not in the fluffy, Pinterest-spiritual way. In the grounding, symbolic, don’t-lose-yourself-to-this-world way.

Lighting a candle can be a ritual. Wearing a certain piece on days you feel off is a ritual. Creating a flatlay as a reminder that your energy is sacred is a ritual.

These aren’t aesthetic choices. They’re emotional ones. Protective ones.

This is fashion as a recovery protocol. Symbolism as spiritual CPR.

Who This Is Actually For

This isn’t for everyone, and it’s not supposed to be.
It’s for the ones who’ve already hit their limit with surface-level everything.

It’s for:

  • The ones spiritually fried by the state of things
  • The ones who want their style to say something real
  • The ones who still want meaning, even after all the noise
  • The ones who are done performing wellness and ready to wear protection

If that’s you, you’re already in the right place. You don’t need to try harder. You just need a different prescription.

What Comes Next

Right now, I’m building one product, one symbol, one ritual at a time. The Archetype Quiz is your first dose. It’s not just a fun link to click. It’s a mirror. It shows you the part of yourself you’ve probably been ignoring or suppressing or laughing off.

This brand is for people who don’t want to buy more things.
They want to feel more like themselves.
More protected. More awake. More ready.

Final Note

You’re not broken. You’re just in the middle of a system that doesn’t make sense.
SOME DOSE is my answer to that.
Not a fix. Not a cure.
But a dose.
Enough to get you back to yourself.
Enough to remember you’re still alive in there.

Your First Step

Take the Archetype Quiz.
This isn’t a personality test. It’s a symbolic diagnosis.
A mirror. A warning. A reminder.

Next Steps: Diagnosis Required

As always, no prescription without a full intake.
